A few months ago I tried out some Tony Moly face masks for the first time (click HERE to see those reviews). Since I enjoyed quite a few of them I was eager to try out some more. On Amazon I found a set with 11 of their masks for a very reasonable price, most of which I hadn’t tried yet, so I decided to purchase it. For the next two months I’ll be writing reviews for each of the masks so make sure you check back every Friday for a new post. To get started, today I’m writing a review for their Red Wine sheet mask which is meant to help with pore care.

Every year Sephora offers a birthday gift to their customers who are signed up to be a “Beauty Insider.” Sephora offers two different sets to choose from, usually one is makeup and the other is skin care, and this year the sets are from Tarte and Caudalie. I’ve recently been trying out quite a few new skin care products so I chose the Tarte gift set. I think the only product I’ve tried from Tarte is their Amazonian Clay foundation, which I really like, so I was excited to try out some more products from the brand. The set includes one of their Amazonian Clay Blushes in “Paaarty” and one of their Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paints in “Birthday Suit.”

I received this sample mascara a little while ago and was excited to try it out. I have used a few bareMinerals products in the past but I’ve never tried one of their mascara’s before. To be completely honest, I never willingly buy mascara that isn’t “drugstore.” I just don’t think it’s necessary, but I’m willing to give a sample a try because you never know when a product will surprise you and turn out to be better than expected. I personally love volumizing mascara’s so I’m always interested in trying new ones out to see how they all compare. So, how does this mascara compare? Click inside to find out!

Last week I posted a review on the ColourPop Mile High eye shadow set (click HERE) that I purchased recently, and for today’s post I’m going to review some more of their Lippie Stix colors that I purchased as well. The last time I purchased some Lippie Stix I chose two darker shades for fall (A deep red and purple) so this time I wanted to purchase lighter shades that I would be more prone to wearing on a daily basis. The two colors I purchased last time were also matte finishes so I hoped I could find some colors that I liked in the other formulas. I ended up choosing two nude shades (one matte finish and one glossy) and then a pink shade (glossy finish). I also purchased their lip primer, which I actually meant to purchase my first time but forgot. I wanted to find out how well it actually “primed” the lips and if it actually makes a difference when wearing the Lippie Stix shades.

I first tried out products from ColourPop a year ago and since then I wanted to try out some more. Finally, a few months ago, I made a purchase and decided to try some more eye shadows and lip products. I was pretty impressed with the products I had already purchased so I was excited to try out some more. For the eye shadows I decided to purchase one of their value sets instead of picking the shadows out individually. I loved the selection of colors in their Mile High set so I decided to purchase that one. Last time I purchased some brighter colors so I thought this time I should purchase more “natural” colors since I wear those the most. I will do a review on the lip products next week so make sure you check back for that. For now though, check out my opinion on the Mile High Eye Shadow set…

In case you didn’t know, I have become a huge fan of the skincare brand Mario Badescu. I discovered the brand a few years ago and have tried quite a few products of the brand. I have been using their Acne Fighting Cleanser since I first tried the brand out. That cleanser has helped my skin out so much and has done everything it claims to do. However, for the past 6 months or so, I’ve been feeling like my skin needs have changed a bit. Finally, a few months ago, I decided I wanted to incorporate some products that would hopefully help to brighten up my complexion; which is why I chose the Glycolic Foaming Cleanser and the Glycolic Acid Toner.

It’s been quite some time since I’ve tried a foundation from the drugstore. I believe it’s been well over a year and quite possibly even more than two years. For the longest time I had been using the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation but I’ve just been bored with it and wanting to try other foundations. I tried some samples of other foundations from Sephora, one from Becca and one from Laura Mercier, but they weren’t quite what I was looking for. I thought about trying some foundations from the drugstore since I was tired of spending $40 but I wasn’t really sure which foundation to try. Well, I was finally able to try out this Maybelline foundation (my mom tried it but didn’t like it so she just gave it to me) and right away I was pretty impressed with it. Now, after using it for a few months, I do still like the foundation but sometimes I have a love/hate relationship with it…

For the past few years I have been taking a break from blogging for the month of December. This time of year can get hectic and stressful so I really like to just spend this time with family. I'll be back to posting content in January so make sure you come back then. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Years! :)

I wouldn’t consider myself to be “brow obsessed” but I do like my brows to look full, defined and fairly natural. My favorite brow product has been the brow kit from E.L.F. but every now and then I like to try out new brow products. I was pretty excited when Benefit announced that they were updating their line of brow products earlier this year. I have tried out their Gimme Brow (which I love) so I thought this would be a good opportunity to test out some new and different brow products. I decided to purchase this kit because I liked the purpose and products that came with it. I know some of these they already had but changed the packaging and/or formula while others are completely new.

The time has now come for my last Tony Moly review on the masks that I recently purchased. Well, last one until I purchase some others to try out. I’ve loved trying out these super affordable masks and, even though I haven’t loved all of them, they each have helped my skin out in some way. Obviously different masks work for different people and their particular skin needs. Today’s mask is one that is meant to clear skin; which I am super excited about. I actually don’t have much acne at all right now but I still love using products that will help to keep it that way.
