BioRepublic Sheet Mask Review: Aloe Rescue and Pomegranate Crush

Last week I reviewed my January Ipsy glam bag (click HERE) and in my bag I received two sheet masks from the brand BioRepublic Skincare. I decided to do a separate post reviewing the two masks I received which were the Pomegranate Crush Illuminating Sheet Mask and the Aloe Rescue Revitalizing Sheet Mask. I have never tried these masks before and I’m always excited to try new products. I’m starting to feel like a lot of sheet masks seem to perform the same way but there are a few that stand out amongst the rest. To find out if these masks are ones that stand out or not, just keep on reading…

January Ipsy Glam Bag: City Color, Ciate London, Real Chemistry and More!

It’s time for my first Ipsy Glam Bag review of the New Year. While some of the brands were familiar to me, all the products in my bag for the month of January were completely new to me. Some of them were quite nice, others started out nice but then disappointed me and some just didn’t impress me from the start. To find out which products were good and bad, just keep on reading…

NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick Review

Before Christmas I was at Ulta picking up some makeup, and decided to look at some of their holiday packs. I saw some from NYX Cosmetics that had their Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks inside and remembered that I had wanted to try them. I figured this would be a great time and so I purchased a pack that had three colors inside: a nude, mauve and brown. I have slowly been trying out liquid lipsticks and figuring out what qualities I like and what I don’t. To find out more about these liquid lipsticks just keep on reading…

Karity Unicorn Dreams Palette Review

At the end of last year I was really craving a colorful eyeshadow palette because I was tired of seeing all the neutral palettes coming out. Don’t get me wrong, I do love a good neutral palette but I felt like those colors are a dime a dozen. I wanted a palette with some variety in it but I didn’t need 35 colors. I was looking for something that was different than what I was seeing so many brands releasing. Enter the Unicorn Dreams palette by Karity. I had heard of the brand before but never tried any of their products. So when I saw this palette, and saw that it was just what I was looking for, I figured it was time to give the brand a try.

Purlisse Sheet Mask Review: Green Tea + Ginger and Coconut + Rice

Last week I shared my review on my December Ipsy Glam bag and in my bag I received two sheet masks from Purlisse. Today I’m going to be sharing my thoughts on these sheet masks. I had never heard of this brand before so, as usual, I was excited to give them a try and see how well they worked. One of these masks is for nourishment and one is for rejuvenating. I was especially interested in the nourishing one since my skin has been super dry this winter. One of them definitely made a difference while the other…not as much. To find out which worked better just keep on reading…

My 2017 Best and Worst Products

To start off the New Year I wanted to do a quick post about the products that were the best and worst for me. I tried out a lot of products last year, and while most were nice or average, there were a few that really stood out to me. A few for good reasons and a few for….not so good reasons. I don’t mean to say that some of these were just flat out terrible, but just that they didn’t work for me the way I wanted them too. With that being said (or written lol), let’s start with the products that turned out to be a bit disappointing for me…

I will be back after the New Year for more reviews so make sure you check back then. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year! <3

L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara Review

My absolute favorite mascara is Maybelline’s Classic Volum’ Express mascara and the last time I went to purchase it, it wasn’t in the store. So I decided I would try out this L’Oreal mascara since it’s been getting a lot of hype. I know a lot of people talk about how this mascara is a dupe for the Too Faced Better Then Sex mascara but I’ve never tried that mascara so I can’t comment on that. I had heard the Too Faced mascara can look clumpy but that this L’Oreal one added volume without the clumps so I was interested in trying it out. I was essentially comparing it to the Maybelline one to see if it would be better or worse. While this L’Oreal mascara does have some nice qualities, I found myself feeling completely underwhelmed by this product…
