Last month when I received my Ipsy Glam Bag there were two Tony Moly sheet masks inside that I had never tried before. I decided to do separate review posts on each mask instead of including them in my Ipsy review post. You can check out last week’s Tony Moly Green Tea mask review by clicking HERE. For today’s post I’m reviewing the other mask I received which is the Lotus sheet mask that is meant for illuminating. In the past I’ve tried a few of Tony Moly’s illuminating masks and while some were good, others were not, so I was very curious to see how well this one would perform.

A few weeks ago I received my July Ipsy bag and inside was two Tony Moly sheet masks (along with other goodies of course). Instead of including the masks in my other post about my Glam Bag, which you can check out by clicking HERE, I decided to do two posts just dedicated to the masks themselves. I have tried a LOT of the Tony Moly sheet masks but have never tried these two so I was really excited. Today’s mask is meant for “Skin Purifying” which always sounds appealing to me. I really like my skin to feel clean and refreshed; and if you do too then keep on reading to see how this mask performed.

The time has come for another Ipsy Glam Bag review. To see my other Ipsy Glam Bag reviews then you can click HERE. This month’s bag was another exciting one because all the products were new to me so I was excited to try them out. I was only familiar with two of the brands but the rest I hadn’t heard of and I love discovering new beauty brands. I did receive two masks in my bag as well but I want to do separate posts on each of those so they won’t be in this post. Those reviews will be up next week and the week after. For now though, click inside to see what I thought of the other products in my July Glam Bag.

I haven’t tried many BB or CC creams but lately I’ve been thinking of trying some. I was in Ulta a while ago and just browsing when I came to this It Cosmetics CC Cream. I remembered hearing and reading a lot of great reviews so I thought I’d give it a try. At first I wasn’t so sure about the color selection. None of the colors seemed to be a good match and I didn’t want to spend so much money if the color didn’t look right. However, I did find the travel size version and decided to just give it a go. I wanted to see first if I liked the formula because then, maybe, I could work with one of the colors and get it to match better. Even though this does have some great qualities, it also didn’t quite live up to some of the claims…

Ok, so, I know this product has been around for a while, and I’ve heard good things about it but, I always wondered if it was really necessary. I mean, it’s literally just water in an aerosol can. Well, while shopping at Sephora recently I saw that they had two mini’s for about $15. I had a gift card and wasn’t finding anything else that really peaked my interest so I thought why not give it a try and see what the hype was all about. The claim for this facial spray is that it “hydrates, tones, and refreshes skin throughout the day. A favorite of skin care professionals, hypo-allergenic evian Facial Spray with a neutral 7.2 pH is compatible with all skin types and enhances all skin care regimes. Spray a light mist right over makeup to revive color throughout the day. It can also help remove perspiration, ocean salt, and pool chlorine from the skin.” Click inside to find out whether I think this facial spray is really worth the money…

I know this primer has been around for a while now but I’ve been trying it out recently so I still wanted to review it. For the past few months I have been trying to find a good primer that will help to really lock in my makeup. I’m not really looking for a primer that smooths, fills in pores, hydrates, adds radiance or even combats oil. I just simply want a primer that is really going to grab onto my makeup and keep it in place. A family member knew I was looking for a good primer so while they were shopping recently they asked an employee from ULTA what they would recommend and it happened to be this product. I had no idea if this truly would be what I was looking for but I decided to give it a try anyways to see how it would work.

A little while ago I received this sample mask from a family member. I believe I’ve vaguely heard of this brand but have never tried any of their products before. This mask is deigned to even out skin tone and add a glow to the skin. I love trying out masks that have these claims because I can sometimes have quite a bit of redness in my skin. One difference that sets this apart from other sheet masks though is that you only leave this on for 5 minutes instead of the usual 20 minutes. I was really curious to see how well this would provide results in such a short time period…

Last month I wrote a post on my first Ipsy Glam Bag and gave mini reviews for each of the products I received. The time has come now for my second bag, and just like the first, I was super excited to try out these items. All of the items are new to me but some I am more familiar with than others. There was even a hair product this time so I was really curious about trying that out. To see what items I received last month then check out that post by clicking HERE. Otherwise, keep on reading to find out more about what items I received this month and my thoughts on them.

Recently I was looking for some new makeup brushes to purchase and stumbled across the brand Spectrum. I have never tried anything from this brand but their products looked really nice so I thought I’d give them a go. This brand is vegan and cruelty free which is something I’ve been trying to branch into more. Not that I only use vegan and cruelty free products but I definitely want to try more brands that are. I also decided to purchase some other accessories because…well…they were too pretty to pass up.

Earlier this year I was searching for some facial serums and oils to try out. Specifically, I wanted to purchase a product with vitamin C, plus purchase a tea tree oil and rosehip oil. I have tried similar products in the past and while some were good and some weren’t, I still wanted to find some that were better. I went searching on Amazon and came across the brand Radha Beauty. I saw that their Rosehip and Tea Tree oils had good reviews so I went to the brands website to do a little more searching. Right away I loved that the company is “committed to providing our customer with all-natural, organic, eco-friendly, and cruelty-free products.” I was then able to find the exact products I was looking for at a reasonable price so I went ahead and purchased them….and so happy that I did….
