I recently was gifted a subscription to Ipsy and received my first bag a few weeks ago. I have wanted to try a service like this for quite some time but just never got around to actually going through with it. I was super excited and very eager to get my first glam bag. In case you don’t know, when you sign up you take a quick questionnaire about the type of beauty products you’re interested in (which, for me, is almost everything lol) and then each month you get a bag sent to you with customized products inside based on your answers. To find out more about the products I received this month and my thoughts on each then keep on reading…

When I saw that Benefit came out with a Hoola contour stick I was super excited. I haven’t tried many contour products that weren’t powder but I have wanted to try some. I absolutely love their Hoola powder bronzer so I thought this product would be perfect. I had received an email from Sephora about being able to get a free sample so I took advantage of it and headed to Sephora to get my sample. If you have wanted to try a cream contour product and wonder how this compares to the powder version then keep on reading…

I know that Urban Decay came out with color correctors a while ago but I wasn’t really interested in trying them out then. For quite a few years now, at least four, I have been using the MAC Prep + Prime Highlighter in Bright Forecast to color correct my dark circles. I love the light orange/peach color because it really helps to counteract the blue/purple tones under my eyes. Well, a little while ago I was given a Sephora gift card and I was trying to think of what I wanted to buy with it. I decided it was time to venture out and try some new color correctors. I chose the color Peach since it states it’s meant for masking circles, as well as spots, and because it was the closest color to the MAC Prep + Prime I’ve been using.

This week is the last of my recent Que Bella face mask reviews. Earlier this year the brand came out with six new masks and sent them out to some beauty bloggers to try out and review. I was lucky enough to be sent these masks and I was so excited because I love the Que Bella products and have tried all of them, which you can check out HERE. Today I’ll be reviewing their Seaweed Hydrogel Mask and their Mix and Peel Honey Jelly Mask. Both of these masks are quite different compared to masks that I’ve tried before. I’ve never tried a hydrogel mask, just the typical cotton sheet masks, and I’ve also never tried a “mix it yourself” jelly sort of mask so I was super excited to try that out as well.

Last week I mentioned that I was lucky enough to be sent the new face masks from Que Bella that came out earlier this year to review. I have been a huge fan of Que Bella and their products for the past few years so I was super excited to try these out. I was sent six masks and did a review on two last week (click HERE to see that post along with all my other Que Bella reviews). The other four are from their “Professional” range. The two I will be doing this week are their Jasmine Mud Mask and their Moringa Oil Sheet Mask.

If you haven’t been following my blog for very long then you may not know that I have been a fan of Que Bella products for a while. So much so, that I have tried and reviewed all of their products (which you can check out by clicking HERE). Earlier this year the company brought out six new face masks and I was lucky enough to get sent these masks to try out and review (and simply that; I’m not being paid in any way). Today I’m reviewing two of the masks, the Watermelon Peel-off Mask and Superberry Mud Mask; while the other four mask reviews will be coming in the following weeks, so make sure you check back for those. For now though, check out these hydrating masks…..

A little while ago I was at Wal-Mart stocking up on some makeup items and I decided to purchase some new items that I’ve never tried before. I’ve seen the Flower Beauty Cosmetics for quite some time and have been curious to try some of the products out. I have read/seen some reviews on some of the products before so, based on the good reviews I read and saw, I decided to buy the highlighting palette and a blush. Then I just decided to try out the eye shadow brush and lip brush to see how well those compared to my other brushes from MAC, Sigma, Real Techniques and Morphe Brushes.

For the past few months I have been reviewing a bunch of Tony Moly masks that I purchased from Amazon. There is a deal where you get 11 of their “I’m Real” masks for around $11; just go to Amazon, search “Tony Moly” and it’s usually right at the top. Some of the masks I had already tried before, and really liked, so I wanted to try out the others. Today I am reviewing the last mask which is their Tea Tree mask that is meant for “skin soothing.” I know that tea tree is good for acne so I was also curious to see how well this did with blemishes. I was super excited and had high hopes for this mask, but it seemed to fall a bit short…

It’s now getting close for my Tony Moly reviews to come to an end again. I have two masks left to write reviews for and today’s review is on their Pomegranate mask which is meant for elasticity. I wasn’t really sure how much of a difference I would see since elasticity isn’t really a major issue for me right now. However, I know that it is easier to prevent skin issues than correct them, so I figured it still might be a good mask to include into my skin routine. Luckily, this mask did indeed give some nice results…

Today’s mask review is one that is meant for ‘nutrition.’ I was really excited to try this one, since it is for nutrition, because it just sounds like it would be more of a well-rounded mask instead of just targeting specific needs. Sometimes it is nice to just use a mask for a specific reason like pores, brightening or moisturizing. However, I think that having a mask such as this and incorporating it regularly will help even more with improving the skin’s overall health. It would be sort of a “killing two birds with one stone” sort of deal. To find out if it really is as great as I think it should be just keep on reading…
